I recently went to Minneapolis for the Design of Medical Devices Conference. Despite how cold it was there, I decided to make use of the city’s bike share scheme. For those who aren’t familiar with schemes like this, in essence there are stations dotted around the city which allow you to check bikes in and out and use them for up to 30 minutes at a time. They’re inexpensive to use too, with the daily rate being $5 or annual subscriptions being $40, if you’re interested checkout Nice Ride’s website – the team there are really helpful (as I found out trying to subscribe using a British credit card).
