This weekend I had the pleasure of visiting Wilton House for their annual supercar day. It was a great day with plenty of expensive cars to look at, an aerobatics display and a parachuting display which was all topped off with fantastic weather. The highlight of the day for me would have to be the ‘sound-off’ competition, where the owners of the display cars had the amount of noise their car made measured using a decibel meter. I was stood behind a Lamborghini Diablo and that car’s V12 can sing; it’s loudest reading was 120Db and measured over 60Db on idle!
I took these photos with my Nikon D40X camera and I used the 18-55mm Nikkor kit lens and the Tamron 70-300mm lens. The photos were processed using Adobe Lightroom on a free trial – this is the second time I’ve used this software and I’m still really pleased with it’s workflow! The Flickr photostream for these pictures is here.
